The name of the mountain is Tchaukhi (3.688 m), located in Mtskheta – Mtianeti region in Kazbegi municipality. It’s in the Great Caucasus in Georgia near the Russian border at the head of the left tributary of the Black Aragvi River near Bakirkhevi. Tchaukhi is made out of Jurassic clays and sandstones and has rocky, bare steep slopes.
